Terms of Service — Broadcast Cam

Last updated: October 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Broadcast Cam, including the Broadcast Cam Android app, Broadcast Cam Studio Director, Broadcast Cam Multicam Desktop, and the broadcastcam.app website (together, the "Service"), operated by Patrido Multimedia ("we," "us," "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Broadcast Cam account. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement. Joining someone else's session as a Live Guest does not require an account, but Live Guests must also be 18 or older or have the permission of a parent or guardian. We may request age verification and may suspend accounts found to violate this requirement.

2. Accounts

  • Accounts are created by signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of that account.
  • Live Guest sessions can be joined without an account. A Host may remove a guest from their session; a removed guest cannot rejoin that session.
  • One account may be used across multiple devices, subject to the seat/device limits of your subscription tier.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payment

  • Free Trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full feature access. Trial eligibility is limited to one trial per person/device; we use device identifiers and other signals to prevent repeated trial use across multiple accounts on the same device. Attempting to circumvent trial limits (e.g., via multiple accounts, factory resets, or emulated/rooted devices) may result in denial of trial access or account suspension.
  • Free (Post-Trial) Tier: After your trial ends, VLOG and PRO CAM modes remain available at 1080p with ad support, unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
  • Paid Subscriptions: Standard, Pro (monthly/annual), Nomadic (24-hour), and Lifetime Access purchases are billed and processed through Google Play Billing. Pricing is shown in USD; Google Play converts to your local currency at checkout.
  • Lifetime Access: Available to a limited number of buyers on a first-come, first-served basis, tracked by a live purchase counter within the app. Once the buyer limit is reached, Lifetime Access is no longer available for purchase. Lifetime Access does not expire and does not carry a feature-access cutoff.
  • Auto-Renewal: Monthly and Annual subscriptions do not auto-renew by default. Auto-renewal, if any, is enabled only if you explicitly opt in at time of purchase, and can be managed or canceled at any time through Google Play's subscription management.
  • Grace Period: If a Monthly or Annual subscription lapses, Pro features remain accessible for 3 additional days, with daily reminders, before access is restricted to the Free tier.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled according to Google Play's refund policies. Contact support@broadcastcam.app for purchase-related issues.
  • Seats: Pro, Nomadic, and Lifetime tiers include up to 5 concurrent Reporter Mode contribution seats per account, each subject to its own usage allowance. Standard tier does not include Reporter Mode seat access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: - Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to transmit content that is illegal, infringing, or violates the rights of others - Attempt to circumvent subscription limits, trial restrictions, seat concurrency limits, or entitlement checks by any technical means - Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except where permitted by law - Use automated means (bots, scripts) to create accounts or interact with the Service in a way not intended for normal human use - Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including its backend infrastructure

5. User Content

  • Content you record, stream, or produce using Broadcast Cam is yours. We do not claim ownership of it.
  • Recordings and WorkShop session files are stored locally on your device; we do not host or store your recorded content on our servers, except transiently as needed to establish live connections you initiate (e.g., Reporter/USB Cam uplinks, Live Guest sessions, which are relayed in real time through our media server and not recorded by us).
  • If you choose to stream to a third-party platform (YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, or a custom RTMP destination), that platform's own terms and content policies apply to that content.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you capture, stream, or distribute using the Service, including compliance with any third-party platform's policies.

6. Third-Party Services and Integrations

The Service integrates with or relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase, Google Play Billing, Cloudflare (DNS and WebRTC relay services), LiveKit (Live Guest media relay), Resend (email delivery), NDI® (a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB), and — where you choose to connect them — YouTube, Facebook and Twitch. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Your use of these integrations is also subject to each respective provider's own terms of service.

7. NDI® Trademark Notice

NDI® is a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB. Broadcast Cam Multicam interfaces (app, Multicam Desktop, and website where applicable) integrate NDI® technology for local-network video source discovery and output, in accordance with Vizrt NDI AB's usage guidelines. Learn more at ndi.video.

8. Broadcast Cam Studio Director and Multicam Desktop

Access to Broadcast Cam Studio Director and Broadcast Cam Multicam Desktop requires an active, paid Broadcast Cam subscription signed in with the same account used for your mobile subscription. These desktop applications are provided as an extension of your existing subscription and are not sold separately.

9. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by emailing support@broadcastcam.app (see the Privacy Policy).
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent trial/subscription abuse, or otherwise misuse the Service.
  • Upon termination, your right to access paid features ends; locally stored content on your own device is unaffected.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, particularly for features dependent on network conditions (e.g., live WebRTC connections, remote contribution uplinks) or third-party platform availability (e.g., YouTube/Facebook/Twitch streaming).

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Patrido Multimedia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, revenue or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including interrupted live streams or recordings. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Patrido Multimedia is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live still apply to you.
